Dr. Brezing is interested in medications development for substance use disorders and the utilization and implementation of mobile health technology to better assess outcome measures and improve data collection in clinical research. She currently has a NIDA K23 to complete a randomized controlled trial of lorcaserin for cannabis use disorder implementing technology-based ecological momentary assessments to evaluate substance use and impulsivity in addition to Smither’s Pilot funding to determine feasibility of collecting social media data from individuals seeking treatment through clinical trials for substance use disorders.
