Folarin Odusola

Folarin Odusola is Director of Clinical Clerkships and Primary Care Medicine in Dentistry at the College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Odusola holds a DDS and a MS in Narrative Medicine, both from Columbia University and is a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS) as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). A faculty member with over 26 years’ experience including multidisciplinary collaborations with the New York State Psychiatric Institute, the Institute of Human Nutrition and the Department of Medical Humanities and Ethics, Dr. Odusola is a member of the Opioid Response Network curriculum team that developed a national dental curriculum for SBIRT and serves on the Columbia Commons IPE Steering Committee. He was a co-investigator on a Columbia University Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research Collaborative Multidisciplinary Pilot Research Award (CaMPR), phases I and II (2017-2019). He is a consultant to the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry and has lectured, facilitated workshops and chaired pathway seminars both locally and internationally. He is a recipient of the National Dental Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) award in 1999 and faculty teaching awards in 1998, 2001 and 2003.
