Matisyahu Shulman

Dr. Shulman is a board certified general and addiction psychiatrist and a clinician-researcher. Following residency, he completed a T32 research fellowship at DSUD. His current research activities are in the area of opioid use disorder and technology and he is a co-investigator on two large NIDA Clinical Trials Network studies on opioid use disorder treatment. He is also a clinical expert as part of the Opioid Response Network and has been involved in several community-based initiatives to increase awareness and decrease stigma in the area of substance use disorders. He sits on the advisory board of the Communities Confronting Substance Abuse Organization and co- founded and is the volunteer co-leader of a support group for family members of those suffering from substance use disorders.
